Cops nab snatcher who targeted five women

The duo had targeted more than five women on Sunday, spreading panic among the citizens. Rakesh (21) was already nabbed the city police. On Sunday, the women, including elderly residents, were targeted by the bike-borne snatchers. Soon, the top brass formed a special team to nab the duo.

The team checked CCTV footage from the areas where the criminals were active, and managed to identify Rakesh. They arrested him within 36 hours during a vehicle check, and found out that the bike they were using for the crime was stolen on Sunday – the same day that they went on the snatching spree. The police said the duo had met in prison and teamed up after coming out.
