Water lorries must register with government: Madras HC
The Madras High Court has made it compulsory for water lorries to be law abiding and register.

The apex court of Tamil Nadu has mandated the water lorries to abide by the municipal laws and register vehicles with the state government.
This comes in order to bring about a uniformity among water lorries.
The court has also formed a fact-finding lawyers' panel to divulge on the groundwater availability as the government failed to do the same.
