More facilities at Aththi Varadhar fest
After the visit of the DGP and Chief Secretary, the Kancheepuram Collector said that the number of medical centres and wheelchairs have been increased at the Kanchi Varadaraja Perumal temple on Monday.

The numbers of wheelchairs have been increased from 750 to 1,500 and they have also located a separate place for devotees to take rest apart from providing biscuits, water, and buttermilk for the devotees. The garbage is being cleaned every two hours to keep the area clean. So far, 27.5 lakh people had visited the temple to worship Aththi Varadhar, Collector P Ponnaiah said.
