Duo held for burglary in Kundrathur

The accused were identified as M Murugan (35) and Y Selvam (32) of Otteri. The burglary took place on July 20 when the victim, Krishnayyah of Irandam Kattalai, was away from home. Based on his complaint, the police registered a case and identified the suspects. They were secured and investigation revealed that they were history-sheeters at Kundrathur police station. “While they worked as house painters during the day, they looked for locked house and carried out burglaries in the night,” said police.
