Auto driver killed in Guindy
A 45-year-old man was found dead with injuries all over the body near the railway tracks in Guindy on Thursday. The police have launched a hunt for his murderers.

The deceased, Panneerselvam of Namachivayapuram in Choolaimedu, was an auto driver and did not return home after stepping out on Wednesday afternoon. His wife Rahima had lodged a complaint at the Choolaimedu police station on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, the Guindy railway police received information that a man was found dead with bruises and cut marks all over the body and informed Guindy police. An abandoned bike which was found a few metres away was checked and found to be his. Preliminary inquiry revealed that Panneerselvam was into betting in the horse race.
