Trains to be rescheduled due to line block

Those affected rail services include Train no 13351 (Dhanbad– Alappuzha Express), Train no 22642 (Shalimar -Thiruvananthapuram Central Express), Train no 12839 (Howrah Junction-Dr MGR Chennai Central Mail), Train no 12621 (Dr MGR Chennai Central – New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express) and Train no 12897 (Puducherry-Bhubaneswar Superfast Express).

Meanwhile, SR has announced special trains to Madurai and Howrah to clear extra rush of passengers. Special-fare Train no 06515 (Thiruvananthapuram– Howrah Special) will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 23.30 hours on October 2 and reach Howrah at 17.45 hours the next day. The train will stop at Kollam, Kayankulam, Alappuzha, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Perambur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Kharagpur and Santragachi. Similarly, special fare special train no 06014 (Madurai – Tambaram) will leave Madurai at 21.00 hours on October 2 and reach Tambaram at 05.00 hours the next day.
