2 snatchers, phone buyer arrested

The snatchers were identified as S Karan Kumar (19) and K Ajithkumar alias Pali of Ayanavaram, while the buyer was identified as R Nithesh (20) alias Poonai of Aminjikarai. On September 30 night, the duo had snatched a mobile phone from one Kishore on New Avadi Road. Based on his complaint, police registered a case and secured the suspects on Friday with the help of CCTV footage. Based on his inputs, police arrested Nithesh. All three were remanded in judicial custody on Saturday.
