Family beaten for alerting landlord about extra-marital affair of neighbour
Two men barged into a house and attacked the inmates with sickles for reportedly informing the house owner about the illicit affair of a tenant at Red Hills in wee hours of Tuesday.

The victims were identified as R Chitra (29), her son R Monish (10), a school student, and her nephew B Karthik (26). They suffered serious injuries in the attack and have been admitted to Stanley Medical College Hospital for treatment. Their condition is said to be stable,the police said.
The police identified one of the accused as B Vinoth (24), a resident of Red Hills, and added that the other suspect could be his associate. Based on a complaint from Chitra, the Red Hills police have registered a case and are searching for the suspects.
The police said that Chitra and her family members had complained about the suspected illicit affair of another woman tenant, aged 30, to the house owner after noticing a youngster often visiting latter’s house. Following this, the house owner reportedly asked the woman to vacate the house.
When the woman tenant left the place, she enquired the house owner and realised that the other tenant, staying in the same residential complex, was the source of information to the landlord.
Though she vacated the house, she complained to her boyfriend Vinoth, who used to often visit her house earlier, about this. Following this, Vinoth and his friend attacked the inmates of Chitra’s house in wee hours of Tuesday,said the police.
