History-sheeter forces woman to marry him, held

The arrested was identified as Ganesan from Kadaperi in Tambaram. The police said Ganesan has many pending cases against him and added that the 22-year-old woman was in a relationship with Ganesan. But after knowing his background, she started to avoid him.

Following that, Ganesan regularly asked the woman to talk to him and asked her to marry him. When he threatened her, she lodged a complaint with the Tambaram police and on Friday morning, the police arrested Ganesan. He was remanded in judicial custody and sent to Puzhal prison.
