Marking romanian national day
The National Day of southeastern European nation of Romania was marked in the city recently by the Honorary Consulate of Romania for Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Consul General Vijay Mehta, the Ambassador of Romania to India Radu Dobre, diplomats representing other countries in the city and actress Suhasini Maniratnam were among those in attendance. Romania is fast becoming a popular destination among Indians, particularly for shooting feature films, envoy Dobre said on the occasion.
