Now, buy tickets for 266 state buses online
The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation - Villupuram has extended the reservation facility to 193 long-distance bus routes.

Previously, reservation facility was available for buses operated in 73 routes. A recent release stated that the facility has been extended to 193 additional routes taking the total bus routes for which the tickets could be booked through online websites to 266.
The release also stated that the low-cost AC bus service introduced by the corporation has received a positive response from the passengers. Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami had launched 53 AC bus services to be run by the Corporation. With the increased public patronage, the Corporation has decided to introduce the AC bus services in eight new routes including Chennai-Neyveli, Chenani-Vellore, Puducherry-Chennai, Vellore-Bengaluru, Neyveli-Chennai, Tirupathi-Chennai, Vellore-Chennai and Villupuram-Chennai.
An official release stated that the civic bodies operates 3,166 buses catering to 16.50 lakh passengers daily in various districts including Chennai, Villupuram, Kancheepuram, Chengelpet and Thiruvallur and to Puducherry, Tirupathi, Kalahasthi, Bengaluru and Nellore.
