CMRL announces 50 pc discount on Pongal days
Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) has announced 50 per cent discounted fare on Metro travel tickets on Pongal holidays from January 15 to 17.

In a statement, the CMRL said that it had already announced that the discounted fare would be applicable on all Sundays and public holidays (except for trip pass and pass for unlimited rides).
Besides, the Metro will be operating special feeder services from Government Estate station and AG-DMS station to Marina beach during Kaanum Pongal on January 17.
