Miss Deaf World 2019 inspires children with hearing disabilities
To lose the ability to hear is one of the greatest difficulties for an individual. And, for children, hearing disability affects their overall growth and learning ability.

According to a survey, 40 per cent of youngsters who are diagnosed with hearing disability during their childhood have faced some minor difficulties in life. To celebrate children with hearing disabilities, Eljay Hearing Centre hosted an event in the city recently. Miss Deaf World 2019 Vidisha Baliyan was the chief guest of the event where she shared her struggles and encouraged the children to dream big in life. The 22-year-old beauty pageant winner from Uttar Pradesh has set an example to come out of the insecurities and achieve the impossible. During the one-day programme, questions regarding how to improvise the lives of children with hearing disabilities were discussed with experts.
