National MHSS conducts expo on science, technology and environment

National Matriculation Higher Secondary School, St Thomas Mount, held an exhibition on technological activities and models on March 7 in the school premises.

The students enthusiastically participated and came up with innovative ideas for their models.


The exhibition was inaugurated by the principal of the school, K Alphonse Maria Arulraj. He congratulated the students on their projects and encouraged them to develop their skills more.


The school boasts of conducting Smartkidz classes through Sunshine Education Academy for the children of Classes 1 to 8 which was introduced this academic year in order to impart skills and creativity on Science and Technology and STEM Education.


The expo has provided the students with various opportunities to exhibit their skills and were based on imagination, creativity, language skills, learning styles and cognitive skills. Some of the models were robotic aeroplanes and models that could be used at harbour.


The expo on science, technology, environmental science and language was also participated by the parents of the students.
