COVID-19: 25 died in various hospitals in Chennai in past 12 hours

Chennai Rajiv Gandhi Government hospital recorded 7 deaths while, Kilpauk Government hospital registered 4 deaths.

In what came as a shock, 25 people died in Chennai in the past 12 hours in various hospitals in the city due to Coronavirus infection. 

Chennai Rajiv Gandhi Government hospital recorded 7 deaths while, Kilpauk Government hospital registered 4 deaths. 

Omandur Government hospital and Stanley hospital reported 3 deaths each. 

About 17 died in Government hospitals and 8 died in private hospitals due to COVID-19 in Chennai. 

Tamil Nadu continues to see 3000+ Covid-19 cases everyday, making itself the Covid hotspot in the country. Chennai reported 1,185 new cases yesterday evening, which was considerably an improvement compared to the past few weeks. The state reported 3,965 cases yesterday, taking the total toll to 1,34,226.
