Marina, the country's longest beach was seen empty, losing its shines after the Covid-19 pandemic gripped Chennai city.
When it was becoming a new normal to see the beach gloomy with no visitors, it is slowly limping back to normalcy as the city’s youth and couple are starting to visit.
It is to be noted that the Tamil Nadu government has eased the lockdown restrictions for July, which is the reason for the beach to regain its radiance.
Visitation of young couple and youth is slowly making Marina regain its glory after being on solitude for more than 100 days.
Chennai reported a total of 1,078 positive cases on Tuesday evening. The percentage of recovery in the city stands at 77, according to the health department.
