Legendary singer SPB says he's fine after testing positive for Covid-19
Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, 74, has been diagnosed with Covid-19 and admitted to a private hospital in the city.

SPB took to social media to announce that his swab sample tested positive for novel coronavirus following mild symptoms of fever and chest congestion.
The singer revealed, in a video statement from the hospital, that the doctors had advised home-quarantine but he decided to seek treatment in a private medical facility concerned about his family members.
He further added that his fever has reduced to normal level and that he is doing fine now. He also urged his friends to stop being concerned now that he was in the safe hands of doctors. He wanted to take rest and focus on medication and hence decided to release the video to clarify that he was in good health.
The versatile and legendary playback singer has given voice to over 40,000 songs in all the south Indian languages and Hindi. He is a recipient of several awards including at least 6 National awards. In 2011, he was conferred with Padma Bhushan.
