Gang hacks man to death in Vyasarpadi
A 36-year-old man was chased and hacked to death in Vyasarpadi on Wednesday night by a four-member gang, allegedly over previous enmity.

The deceased was identified as Vijayadhas of Sathyamoorthy Nagar, who was arrested last year in connection with the murder of his brother-in-law.
Vijayadhas, who was released on bail, was walking near his house when the gang reached the spot on two bikes and started attacking him with sharp weapons. When he tried to escape, they chased and hacked him, leaving him dead on the spot.
After the gang fled from there, the residents from the neighbourhood alerted the police control room. A team from Vyasarpadi police station sent his body to Government Stanley Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination. A case was registered and a hunt has been launched for the suspects with the help of CCTV footage.
The police suspect that he could have been murdered to avenge the death of his brother-in-law. Further investigation is on.
