Real estate businessman hacked to death near Padappai

The deceased Sathish of Manimangalam, who is also into financing, was returning home from Chengalpattu when the unidentified gang followed him in another vehicle and stopped his car at a bridge in Orathur village. On the pretext of having a conversation, the gang allegedly asked him to step down and suddenly started hacking him with machetes. While Sathish’s driver sped away, the accused too escaped in their car. Manimangalam police rushed to the spot and sent Sathish’s body for post-mortem. Police registered a case and are investigating.
