Appearing for Ilayaraja, senior counsel PS Raman also submitted before Justice N Sathish Kumar on Tuesday that he wanted his personal assistant and music technician to accompany him to check on the equipment and shift them using the services of packers and movers. Though objections prevailed over his visit citing past instances when chaos prevailed during his entry resulting in public attacking a couple of watchmen, the judge sought both parties to shed their ego and behave in a magnanimous manner setting aside the bitterness.

“Don’t’ treat him (Ilayaraja) as an enemy. If he comes, don’t push him out. Treat him with respect,” the judge said while noting that the court would account for security by directing the police to provide protection.

It was finally agreed that the court would fix the timing of Ilayaraja’s visit and the day when he would undertake the visit during the prescribed time would be fixed in consultation between both the parties. Based on this, Justice Suresh Kumar posted the case to Wednesday for offering necessary directions when the affidavit by Ilayaraja is also set to be filed.
