MNM Leader Kamal Haasan Likely To Meet Rajinikanth Today

Makkal Needhi Maiyam leader Kamal Haasan who is touring around the state as a part of his electoral campaign is likely to meet his industry colleague and friend, Superstar Rajinikanth today.

Earlier, Kamal had hinted that he is likely to join hands with Rajinikanth as soon as the latter announced his political entry. Answering to a question on striking electoral deals with other parties for the polls, Haasan said, "We will talk about alliances only at the appropriate time."

Asked if he would seek support from Rajinikanth, he shot back asking, "I have decided to go door-to-door to seek support. Will I miss my friend?" He had also said, that alliance with him (RMM) will be decided after Rajini announces his party manifesto.

Two days back, in a surprising turn of events, Rajini had to roll back his political plans after his health went for a toss recently. Kamal Hassan said, "Although Rajinikanth's decision saddens me, his health and wellbeing is very important to me. My Rajini should be well". He added that he would meet the actor once he reaches Chennai.

Accordingly, the meet between these two stars is likely to happen today. Speculations are that Kamal Haasan is likely to seek Rajinikanth and his cadre support to MNM in the forthcoming elections.
