Vaccine Dry Run: Union Minister Harsh Vardhan Lauds TN's Preparations

After inspection, the Minister said that the vaccination arrangements in the city were in tune with the guidelines issued by the Center. He lauded the Tamil Nadu government by stating that there has been 100 percent RT-PCR testing and the cases were managed effectively.

The procedure has been designed in a way that 25 frontline workers can be vaccinated in two hours. The dry run will be observed in three session sites in all the districts including one session each in government hospital, private hospital and in rural areas. Vardhan is also scheduled to visit the General Medical Store Depot in Periamedu, which is one of the vaccine storage facilities in the country.

This is the second such exercise being carried out across the country. The first dry run was carried out on January 2.
