Class 12 boy kills self in Maduravoyal over scoring low marks in exam
An 18-year-old boy immolated himself allegedly fearing father’s anger for scoring low marks in school examination, in Maduravoyal on Thursday.

The deceased, Raja of Alapakkam, was a Class 12 student of a private school. On Thursday evening, Raja reached home and doused himself with kerosene before setting himself afire. Neighbours rushed him to hospital. However, the doctors there declared him brought dead.
