Royal Enfield launches new Hunter 350 motorcycle in Chennai

CHENNAI: Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-sized (250cc-750cc) motorcycle segment, on Wednesday launched the new Hunter 350 in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu continues to be a key growth market for Royal Enfield with a significant customer base in the roadster segment. Over the last few years, Royal Enfield motorcycles have built a strong riding community in the state and enjoy a significant market share in the mid-size motorcycle segment (>250cc-750cc). The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be available across all its around 200 touch points in TN.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer, who was in Chennai for the launch, said, “The Hunter 350 is an outcome of several years of insight gathering and consumer studies from across the world. Its shorter wheelbase, more compact geometry and lighter weight makes it nimble and maneuverable within the urban context. In Chennai and the rest of Tamil Nadu, we are confident this new reimagined roadster will usher in a whole new set of consumers.”

Royal Enfield produces the motorcycle at its factory in neighbouring Oragadam and has commenced deliveries on August 10. "We have installed capacity of a million unit a year...", he said to a query, adding the company could scale up production based on the market demand.

The new Hunter 350 starts at Rs 1,49,900/- for the factory series, Rs 1,63,900 /- for the Dapper Series and Rs 1,68,900/- for the Rebel series (ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu). The Hunter is available in eight colour options.
