DMK General Council meet: Traffic diversions in Shenoy Nagar
Vehicles coming from Chetpet Junction on Harrington road will not be allowed from Namachivayapuram Junction towards EVR Salai Junction.
CHENNAI: Chennai city traffic police announced traffic diversions on Sunday in Shenoy Nagar in view of a DMK's general council meeting at St George Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School.
Based on the necessity, traffic diversions will be in place from 7 am till 6 pm.
Accordingly, commercial vehicles will not be allowed from Anna Arch towards Ega Junction in incoming direction on EVR Salai. These vehicles will use 3rd avenue, Anna Nagar roundabout, K4 Anna Nagar police station, 3rd Avenue x New Avadi road junction, New Avadi road, Kilpauk Garden road and Flowers road to reach EVR Salai.
All the Commercial vehicles will be diverted at Ega Junction towards Gurusamy bridge, Sterling junction, Sterling road to reach their destination. Vehicles will not be allowed from Kilpauk Garden road x New Avadi Road junction towards EVR Salai.
Public vehicles (incoming direction) will be diverted at Pulla Avenue Junction towards Thiru vi ka Park, Kilpauk Garden road and Taylors road to reach their destinations.
Public vehicles (outgoing) will be diverted at EVR Salai & Taylors road Junction towards Taylors road, KG road, New Avadi road and Halls road to their destinations.
Public vehicles will not be allowed from New Avadi road x Halls Road junction towards EVR Salai.
Halls Road will be made one way from New Avadi road towards Taylors road with entry from New Avadi road x Halls road junction.
Vehicles coming from Chetpet Junction on Harrington road will not be allowed from Namachivayapuram Junction towards EVR Salai Junction.
These vehicles will be diverted at Namachivayapuram subway Junction towards NM road Junction, Choolaimedu.
Vehicles coming from NM road Jn will not be allowed from Namachivayapuram Junction towards EVR Salai Junction.
These vehicles will be diverted at Namachivayapuram Jn towards Harrington Subway and Chetpet junction.
