Police arrest 3 Chennai students for wielding machetes in train
All the three hail from outskirts of Chennai.
CHENNAI: A day after three college students were dragging machetes in a moving train, they were arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP) on Tuesday.
In a video, the trio could be seen dragging the machetes dangerously to cause them and other passengers harm.
We would like to inform you that the 3 youths seen in this viral video performing stunts with sharp weapons in their hand, have been arrested by @grpchennai! They were identified as Anbarasu, Ravichandran and Arul. All the three are students of Presidency College.
A tweet informing their arrests were posted on the official handle of Divisional Railway Manager, Chennai. Public were also encouraged to inform such acts to either RPF or GRP.
