Discount in home loan rates at SBI mela, rush last day today
Supported by CREDAI Chennai, the event is first of its kind mega property show that the bank is conducting.
CHENNAI: The three-day SBI Mega Property Show ‘22, inaugurated on October 14 by the bank’s chief general manager, Chennai circle, R Radhakrishna at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandabakkam will come to a close on Sunday.
Supported by CREDAI Chennai, the event is first of its kind mega property show that the bank is conducting. As many as 57 builders, builder partners — comprising 31 CREDAI builders — and non-CREDAI builders are participating in the property show. The builders have showcased their property projects for prospective home-buyers at the shop.
With the festive season on, the SBI has announced a reduction in interest rates starting from 15 bps to 30 bps for home buyers with a CIBIL score of 700 and above and a waiver of processing charges.
The event was kickstarted in the presence of the SBI Chennai circle management comprising of the general manager of network-1, Debasish Mishra, general manager of network-2, Govind Narayan Goyal, and special invites, CREDAI Chennai chapter president, Siva Gurunathan, CREDAI Tamil Nadu president, Suresh Krishnan and president elect of CREDAI Chennai chapter, Mohammed Ali.
With a market share of 28 per cent, the circle has reached 55,000 crore level as on September 30 and has set itself up for reaching 60,000 crore by 2023 January. The bank at present has 590-plus approved projects across the State and 400-plus approved projects in Chennai. Radhakrishna thanked the CREDAI officials for their support.
