Pink trailer grabs attention for all the right reasons

It shows Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a senior lawyer in the film asking some tough questions to Taapsee, who plays a sexual assault victim in the film. Invasive, demeaning but a part of the legal process Pink seems to be asking the toll it takes on the survivor. 

It reflects on the dubious morals of today’s times and it has definitely left everyone intrigued with its powerful storyline. The two-and-half-minute trailer is loaded with suspense, is fast-paced and intense. 

Taapsee along with her two friends, played by Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Taring, seem to be trapped in the vicious circle of crime and constantly being threatened by their assailants. 

The film is produced by Shoojit Sircar and is directed by popular Bengali director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. It is slated for release on September 16.
