Artistic expression of feline fetish

Nupur is a fine arts graduate from Shantiniketan in West Bengal and did her post-graduation from MS University, Baroda. For more than two decades she has been a resident of Chennai working and living in Cholamandal Artist Village.  

Nupur’s earlier works were bronze sculptures mostly depicting flora and fauna. Her recent series of works are using mainly charcoal, pen and ink. 

This exhibition will showcase more than 50 of her works in different medium with the same recurring theme of cats.
