Dressed in t-shirts with Chennaiyin FC logos, players Dudu Omagbemi, Duwayne Kerr, Jayesh Rane, Thoi Singh and Pawan Kumar walked in to sample some fare at the restaurant.

The team members were intrigued by the process of making filter kaapi and were spotted trying it out. They seem to enjoy the process.

On being served milagai bajji Dudu Omagbemi was initially hesitant as he felt it would be too spicy. After being coaxed by other team mates, he went on try it. But we realised later that the footballer had only had the outer coating, leaving the chilli intact! The team members also tried out stuffed Ceylon parotta with double cheese margherita, a specialty at the eatery and absolutely devoured the dish.

The players also chatted a lot and cracked jokes among themselves as they tried out one dish after the other. They even ranked the dishes based on taste and bonded with each other over the informal lunch session.

The Chennaiyin FC members were visibly relaxed as the team recently beat FC Pune City 2-0 in their Indian Super League (ISL) football match at Chennai on Tuesday, snapping their five-match winless streak.
