Twitter explodes as Salman Khan is acquitted

While many fans heaved a sigh of relief when Salman Khan walked free in yet another case, it looked like social media was prepared for the moment. As soon as the news of Salman Khan walking free from charges broke, Twitter had a field day mocking the judgement and the actor in equal measure. Stand-up comedian Sorabh Pant tweeted, ‘SalmanKhan acquitted in black buck case. Must have sent his black buck to a Swiss bank.’ While another Twitter user Akshar Pathak wrote, ‘Actually the blackbuck was driving Salman’s car that night.’ Many such tweets were doing the rounds on social media. There were numerous memes also that were shared.
