Makeover Magic: Career consultant gets classy transformation

That is exactly the train of thought our client Anjali Susan Mathew had before she stepped into our salon. Anjali, a 24-year-old career consultant, wanted to experiment with hair colour for the first time in her life and complement the look with the right hair cut. She wanted to keep her overall look trendy, classy and vibrant to make heads turn while keeping in mind the needs of her professional lifestyle. 

Understanding the requirements of the client and the constraints of her lifestyle, our expert decided to give her a cut and colour with a difference. 

Keeping in mind her hair texture, the style expert decided to opt for a Stardust Balayage technique of hair colour to create a trendy and unique look. Balayage is a free-hand procedure where the colour is ‘painted’ into the hair. Unlike the traditional highlights, this gives the hair a natural looking hair colour with softer and less noticeable re-growth lines. 

A deviation of this technique is the Startdust Balayage, where randomly selected sections of the hair are fluidly painted with colour along the outer edges. The outcome is a distinguished look with darker colour at the roots and a more vibrant shade at the edges. 

The novelty of this technique is that it creates a look which cannot be recreated. The style expert chose a blend of mahogany and mocha as the primary colours which are very wearable and perfectly complement the skin tone of the client. To enhance the look, the style expert decided to give the client disconnected layers as a cut, which added volume and bounce to the overall look of her hair. 

The look was finished off by setting her hair in tonged curls. The client seemed visibly confident and happy in her new avatar. 

The makeover was carried out at an outlet of Green Trends Unisex Salon and Spa.
