French duo on global caravan ride

A middle-aged couple from France, who are on a world tour in their caravan, reached Rameswaram on Sunday.

From Kolkata they had reached Chennai and then travelled on the East Coast Road to reach Rameswaram. The couple travelled nearly 300 km per day. They have so far travelled 30,000 km in their vehicle. 

The couple stay and cook in the caravan which is worth Rs 22 lakh in Indian currency. 

Speaking about their trip, the couple said they were interested in undertaking a world trip and so had bought an altered vehicle to suit their needs. 

Like other foreign couples, they too liked India the most. 

The Indian culture was adorable as people speak to them with care and welcomed them wherever they went. The food is another thing they liked the most. 

The French couple also liked Pamban bridge and Dhanushkodi because of the serene surroundings.
