Vaanam Kottatum's trailer is out, familial friction runs high

Vikram Prabhu and Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Vaanam Kottatum's trailer was out on Thursday.
Helmed by Mani Ratnam's assistant Dhana Sekaran, it is bankrolled by the legendary director's Madras Talkies.
The trailer shows Sharath Kumar as an ex prison convict who is guilt-ridden of not taking care of his children, his real and reel life wife Radhika Sarath Kumar tries allay things between Vikram and Sharath.

We only get glimpses of talents such as Madonna Sebastian, Shanthanu, Nandha and director Balaji Shaktivel in the trailer.
Music is crooned by the singer-turned-composer Sid Sriram, Vaanam Kottatum is his maiden music project. The rural Theni is so beautifully captured by Cinematographer Preetha Jayaraman and Sangathamizhan is the editor.
With the kind of sequences and emotions that goes through the trailer, Vaanam Kottatum holds a promise of an intense rural family drama.
The film is slated to be released on February 7.
