Netizens tease Sehwag after he uploads video of boy eating candy at assembly
Although we have many memorable incidents in our life, the school assembly would be the most cherished for we would talk quietly with our friends or even pray that the maths teacher is absent. However, a video circulating online, shared by former cricketer Virender Sehwag shows a young boy licking his lollipop during assembly. In the adorable clip, the child is blissfully unaware of his surroundings and even though the candy is in his mouth, he utters prayers in unison with the others. While some dubbed the little boy as resourceful and innovative, others were nostalgic, remembering the hilarious pranks and stunts they pulled off during school days. A user cheekily pulled Sehwag’s leg by commenting, “Sir is this not your childhood memory.”
Internet lauds school’s innovative method of teaching kids through dance
Twitterati were amazed watching a group of school girls from a Karnataka government school merrily dancing in a video by reciting their multiplication tables. Many were awestruck watching the video and appreciated the school’s efforts in teaching the students’ the simple way of memorising their multiplication tables. A user commented,”Now I know why girls always excelled in maths and dance,” while another user tweeted,” If only I was taught the multiplication tables like in this Kannada school. Not sure about my math, I would have at least got good in dance by now.” The video throws the spotlight on the government schools in Karnataka, who have come up with an initiative ‘Nali Kali’, where they help the students to combat the fear of maths.
