Director Atlee was rumoured to have involved in a Shah Rukh Khan and Junior NTR films. The former rumour was so strong, with King Khan and Atlee clicking pics regularly.

Though many sources came out saying both these stars are working with other directors.

On Saturday, Atlee himself cleared the air about his next project. Not a directorial feature but a productorial feature.

The Bigil director took to the microblogging website Twitter, to announce his second production venture.

The film's first look poster was released on Sunday on Atlee's production house handle A for Apple.

The film is titled Andhaghaaram (Darkness) starring the very happening actor Arjun Das who was widely appreciated for his performance in Kaithi. He has managed in his upcoming Master, though stars Kollywood's biggie Thalapathy Vijay, to augur expectation for himself without being obscured in a star vehicle.

Andhaghaaram also stars Vinoth Kishan of Naan Mahaan Alla fame, Pooja Ramachandran and Misha Ghoshal. Music is crooned by Pradeep Kumar.

The film's poster like the title suggests has a man sitting in the middle of a room  lighted by opened windows which otherwise is dark. There are books strewn around the room.

The tone of the poster gives a clue that the film deals with some intense subject.

The film's trailer will be out on April 14 (Tamil New Year).

What more to expect is, Atlee already had said he will make his wife Priya Mohan play a pivotal role in his movie. Andhaghaaram may well offer that as well.

The film is directed by V Vignarajan and this is the second film bankrolled by A for Apple production after Jiiva starrer horror-comedy Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thora.
