Dhanush starrer Jagame Thandhiram’s makers release first single Rakita Rakita on his birthday

Dhanush’s upcoming film Jagame Thadhiram is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and Sathosh Narayanan has composed music for the film. The film’s first single titled Rakita Rakita sung by Dhanush, penned by Dhee-Vivek was released by the makers on Dhanush’s 37th birthday. Karthik Subbaraj took to social media to wish Dhanush on his birthday and revealed the foot tapping number.

Originally the movie was slated to be released on May 1st, 2020. Due to covid-19 surge the release of the movie has been postponed indefinitely. Meanwhile there were rumours about the movie getting released on OTT platform but the makers denied it.

The film has Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the female lead, while James Cosmo of Game Of Thrones fame will be seen as the main antagonist. Joju George, Kalayarasan Harikrishnan, Vadikukkarsi will be seen playing key supporting roles in the film. Touted to be gangster flick, it is expected that the makers will come up with an official release date as soon as the lockdown for COVID 19 id lifted.
