This die-hard KKR cricketer meets Thalapathy Vijay

Apparently, Varun met his hero post his return from Dubai and shared the picture in his social media handle.

Its a well known fact that this calm and composed KKR spinner is a die hard fan of Vijay. In one of his recent interviews, the cricketer revealed his long time wish to meet his on screen hero in person, which he claimed to be his long pending wish. Varun Chakravarthy, who was rose to fame in the TNCA fourth division league in 2018-19,  before being chosen to the KKR team, for the recent IPL 2020, held in Dubai. He was added to the Indian team but was later replaced by T Natarajan because of injuries.

Reportedly, Varun had approached actor Vijay post the latter's return from Dubai IPL series. The cricketer had shared his happiest moment in social media, captioning it with the recent sensational dialogue from Vijay's upcoming flick 'Master'.

The photo of Varun fist bumping with Vijay went viral instantly and fans of Vijay are obviously excited to see the TN cricketer along with their on-screen hero, apparently trending #VarunChakravarthy on social media.

Surprisingly, Varun has also inked himself with one of Vijay's movie poster - 'Thalaiva' and Varun never fails to flaunt it proudly.
Meanwhile, the much anticipated Master movie's teaser was released on Diwali day to a rave reception among fans and general audience. With 2 million likes, this teaser is globally sixth in YouTube for most likes.
