The rover will begin its scientific activities three hours after the lander makes a soft-landing on the southern pole of the moon.

The velocity of the lander will reduce drastically when it is 15 minutes away from landing.

Observations are being made to ensure the Chandrayaan-3 lander makes a soft-landing on a plain surface.

Scientists have confirmed Chandrayaan-3 lander will land on the moon 6.04 PM today.
