Dec 17: A day after his office was searched by the CBI, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the raiding team scrutinised a file relating to the Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) which Jaitley once headed.
Dec 18: Ghulam Nabi Azad along with KC Venugopal raised the DDCA issue and alleged Jaitley was involved in the Feroze Shah Kotla stadium controversy. BJP member Kirti Azad embarrasses government levelling charges against Jaitley on the same issue.
Dec 22: Jaitley files Rs 10 cr defamation case against Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders over DDCA allegations in Delhi High Court. On Dec 24 Jaitley targets Kejriwal and others on FB and Twitter
Dec 23: BJP suspends Kirti Azad for attacking Finance minister in the DDCA controversy.
Dec 24: Veterans of the saffron party meet at Murali Manohar Joshi house for a discussion on the Azad suspension.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy supports Kirti Azad and targets Jaitley over stadium row.
Dec 25: Seeking Centre’s intervention, Lieutenant General Najeeb Jung has questioned the legality of appointment of inquiry by Arvind Kejriwal Government to probe DDCA issue. This triggered a new round of confrontation with the Chief Minister who said the matter was out of the LG’s purview.
