Centre says AAP panel is against statute

The step evoked a strong reaction from the AAP which said the Union Government is trying to shield   Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. According to sources, Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has written to the Delhi government, striking down the panel set up by the Delhi Government to probe alleged financial irregularities in DDCA.  The DDCA enquiry commission set up by Delhi Govt is as per law and Constitution. Centre’s opinion not binding on Delhi govt,  Arvind Kejriwal said in his reaction.
