India a youthful country, 41% of population below 20 years
As per the latest reports, 41 % of population of the country is below 20 years of age.

The data revealed that the Muslim population in the country holds the highest number of children (47%) and teenage population followed by Hindus (40%) and Jains (29%) respectively.
According to the census taken in the past decade (2001-2011), the total population is 102 Crore with a growth rate of 17.7 percent.
The Census data released recently stated that only 4.5 percent of the total population are graduates and 32.6 percent of the population does not even come up to the level of primary school.
On a positive note, the data indicates improvement in the higher level of education and educational advancement in the past decade.
