PM to begin 3-day visit to Assam, AP, Odisha from today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today begin his three-day visit to Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha to attend several programmes.
New Delhi
"Will join several programmes in Assam, Andhra Pradesh & Odisha during my 3 day visit to these states," Mr Modi tweeted today.
In Dibrugarh, the Prime Minister shall be inaugurating the first ever petrochemical project in the Northeast & India's biggest wax producing unit using indigenous technology.
"Looking forward to addressing tea workers at Moran and attending 85th Annual Conference of Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha at Sibsagar," Mr Modi tweeted.
During his visit to Assam, the Prime Minister will be inaugurating the 12th South Asian Games in Guwahati.
"I welcome all athletes from SAARC nations who are participating in the games," the Prime Minister said.
Tomorrow, Mr Modi will attend International Fleet Review & maritime exhibition in Visakhapatnam.
"Will again return there on 7th and address the gathering," he said.
The Prime Minister will arrive in Bhubaneswar on February 7 and dedicate to the nation the National Institute of Science Education and Research. He will also visit the Jagannath Temple in Puri.
Later, he will dedicate to the nation the state of the art Indian Oil Refinery at Paradip.
