And we’ve all been guilty of passing such judgement at one point or the other. But it’s 2016, and it is all about breaking gender stereotypes. And joining the race is Titan. As an ode to women to commemorate International Women’s Day, the watchmakers have released a new video celebrating the success of women. It begins with a group of seniors discussing promotions at work. They bring up an employee’s name Kiran, who happens to be the boss’ favourite. They spend a lot of time working together, and Kiran has also been recommended for a promotion by the boss. As the performance review continues, the reviewers hearing Kiran and the boss’ story visualise the duo going out for late night dinners and spending extra hours at the office. But when Kiran actually enters the room, they realise that Kiran is a man. The ad changes the way you look at and perceive a successful woman and what better than International Women’s day to break such stereotypes.
