While terming the allegations of former Chief minister as an outcome of 'mere frustration', Singh said Omar seems to lack information related to the funds for development in the state.

Singh said that whatever the NC leader has said is false and an attempt to mislead the people, which has become a routine practice of the leaders of political parties, including Congress, NC and Panthers Party.

"BJP, since day first, had focused on providing adequate relief to the flood affected people", he said.

Singh said that for the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, a huge package of Rs 80,000 crore was provided by Narendra Modi government while it was PDP-BJP coalition in the state.

"Our coalition had convinced the Union government for such a huge package, which included funds for relief and development," Singh said and added that the BJP as a party also had stressed upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sanction number of developmental projects and welfare schemes for the state.

Meanwhile, BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar urged the Chief electoral officer to look into the issue of discrepancies in the voter list of the Kashmiri Pandit community who have been living in different wards of Jammu and adjoining areas.

He said that a common complaint has been received by his office from various wards of Jammu where displaced Kashmiri community reside that the voter lists have shown large scale discrepancies.

"Hundreds of voters have been deleted in many wards without assigning any reason, despite proper applications for corrections the names still stand incorrect, even names of such voters who have already exercised their voting rights in the last Municipal Elections, have been deleted," Ambardar said.

He suggested that a special drive for correction of discrepancies be conducted so that before the final date of Municipality elections is announced the issue is resolved.
