10 things you need to know about India’s fastest train
Gatimaan Express was flagged off by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu today. Here are the 10 things one must know about this India's fastest train.

- Gatimaan Express runs between Delhi and Agra covering a distance of 195 kms.
- Being a semi-high speed train, it runs at a speed of 160 kmph.
- Bio-toilets are installed in the train to comply with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
- The train operates twice a day. It starts from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station at 8.10 AM and reaches Agra Cantonment Station at 9.50 AM. The return journey starts from 5.50 PM and reaches at 7.30 PM.
- The train runs six days a week except for Fridays since Taj Mahal will be closed on that day.
- The train comes with 12 coaches - 8 AC chair, two executive coaches and two spare coaches.
- While AC chair costs around Rs 750, the executive coaches will cost around Rs 1500.
- It is worth mentioning that Gatimaan Express is the first ever regular passenger train to have 'train hostess' in the country.
- The passengers also get access to free Wi-Fi and an 8-inch LCD TV is installed behind each seat.
- The train offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The passengers get to pick their meals from a range of options including north and south Indian cuisines, Italian and continental.
