Jet Airways official said, "Jet Airways flight S2 4738 from Ahmedabad to Mumbai received a security alert at Ahmedabad airport. The aircraft was thoroughly inspected by the security agencies and the flight with 125 guests and six crew has now been cleared for departure."
Earlier on Wednesday morning, a threat call about a bomb on the flight from Ahmedabad was reported.
The Airport authorities had halted the flight from taking off and took the aircraft to an isolated area of the airport to carry out a detailed search.
This is the second time in two months that Jet Airways has received calls about bombs being planted in their aircrafts. Earlier in March, an anonymous person called up the Jet Airways office to say bombs were placed in five of its flights forcing the airline to ground one of them before take-off.
