Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has made India proud by getting featured on the cover of Time Magazine. Here is the list of popular Indian celebs who also got a cover on the Time magazine.

Priyanka Chopra: After she was crowned Miss World, Piggy Chops, as she is fondly called, worked hard to get her foot in the door as far as Bollywood is concerned. With sheer hard work and dedication, she transformed herself into this international pop diva of sorts, right before she made a grand appearance on the American TV series Quantico. Now the dusky beauty is all set to make her Hollywood debut with Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach.

The global star has now bagged a place in 2016 Time magazine's 100 most influential people list and has one of the six special edition covers to herself. 

Parveen Babi: Parveen Babi became the first Bollywood diva to appear on the cover of Time Magazine. Her character of Anita in Deewar, broke stereotypes surrounding the Indian woman, which got her a place on the prestigious journal in the year 1976.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan became the second Indian actress to be featured on the cover of Time Magazine in the year 2003. By then, the blue eyed beauty had taken the international stage with prestigious brand endorsements like L’Oréal. She also made her debut in the world renowned Cannes Film Festival during that time. 

Shah Rukh Khan: King Khan made it to the Time cover in 2004 when the Indian film industry was at its peak. He was named as one of the 20 most influential Asians under 40 years of age. At that period of time, SRK’s career was at its peak with hit movies like Swades and Veer Zaara. 

Sachin Tendulkar: India's favourite sportsman won open armed admiration with the Time cover calling him the ''God of Cricket” and one of the world's greatest sportsperson. Tendulkar was featured on the cover of the magazine's South Pacific edition in 2012 after achieving his 100th century on 16 March.

Aamir Khan: After a slew of socially conscious movies, Aamir Khan rocked the nation with his television show “Satyamev Jayate” that questioned the evils our society is riddled with. Time introduced Khan in their cover as the new breed of Indian. Aamir Khan has also made it to the list of Time magazine's most influential people of 2013.
