President Pranab Mukherjee arrives in Namibia
President Pranab Mukherjee is on a two-day visit to Namibia, on the last leg of his tour to three African nations.

President Mukherjee will hold talks with his Namibian counterpart Hage Geingob and will also address a joint session of Parliament of Namibia. His other engagements during the visit include an address at a business event, university and a community reception.
Legendary leader of Namibia Sam Nujuma will call on the President on June 17, the last day of his visit.
India was among the first nations to raise the question of Namibian independence in the UN. The last time any India Head of State visited Namibia was 21 years ago in 1995 and Prime Minister Vajpayee had visited the country in 1998 when Sam Nujoma was heading the country.
During the visit, four MoUs were expected to be signed and which include one on defence cooperation.
The issue of Uranium supply by Namibia to India under 2009 agreement may also come up during the discussions.
