Tarishi’s body brought to Delhi, last rites in Gurugram
The mortal remains of 18-year-old Indian girl Tarishi Jain, who was among more than 20 foreign hostages killed in the Dhaka terrorist attack, was flown in to Delhi, here on Monday.

The body would be taken to Gurugram, Haryana, where the last rites would be performed. Her father runs a garment business in Bangladesh for last 15-20 years and she was on vacation in Dhaka.
Tarishi was a student at UC Berkeley in the US. She had gone out with two of her friends on Friday evening to Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka’s Gulshan area which was attacked by the heavily armed gunmen.
The restaurant was finally cleared of terrorists after Bangladeshi Forces stormed it and rescued 13 hostages.
The body of Tarishi was found among the 20 victims, who were gunned down by the terrorists before being neutralised.
